Are you in Laos, more specifically Luang Prabang? If so you have two real choices. Saffron (see review) and Indigo Cafe. Both worthy contenders in their own rights. For the purpose of this page let’s focus purely on Indigo.

Set at the end (or the start depending on where you enter) of the night market road, Indigo coffee operates out of the first floor of Indigo House which is a popular Hotel and rooftop bar overlooking the dazzling lights of the Laos night market.

A small barista bar set inside the hotel lobby offering cakes and sweets and a menu of caffeine delights. The flat white is hard to come by in Luang Prabang however Indigo provide a solid attempt at hitting the mark with theirs. Not as deep in flavour as Saffron down by the Maekok River however worthy of a take away to wonder the market just out the front. Also to add to the visit Indigo has a small independently run bakery out the front selling an amazing range of muffins, croissants and sugary choices.

The flat white, as mentioned, is good however the fact you are in Luang Prabang means you are on holiday and you have time to wonder to the better option just down the road (Saffron).
