Located up Peel Street this is my go-to place for some good bagels and of course a strong, reliable flat white.

The interior is very industrial and minimalist yet comfortable with a relatively brief menu, mainly bagels. You can choose to sit and people watch by the window or catch up with the news on the main center table whilst enjoying some tasty food and coffee. I am finding more and more it is the little things that do it for me, a big table covered in newspapers and magazines and a solid flat white.

“Always choose the adventure … unless, it’s chilly outside and there’s a cup of warm coffee resting near a book and comfy sofa.”

The secret to Peel Street Espresso’s success? The beans! They are using Redback beans which give a strong intensity with a soft, smooth finish. The flat white gives enough of a kick in taste to make you sit up and take notice whilst being so soft and soothing that before you know if you are ordering another!

Apart from the quality of the coffee this coffee shop also offers a simple yet delicious range of food whether you are looking for breakfast, lunch or just a snack fix. Bagels with a variety of toppings, avocado and salmon toast and yummy cookies, muffins and energy balls are available. I recommend the Sup’d up cookie for sure (unless you are on a diet..).
