Why 50…why not? Tucked away down an alley off of Queens Road West, surrounded by a surplus of other decent coffee shops is Why 50. A funky designed first floor cafe that screams funkster. From the graffiti wall exterior to the tattooed baristas behind the bar.

With a wide selection of daily baked goods in addition to a decent menu which ticks all the breakfast boxes Why 50 could have it all…until you order a coffee. Whether it be the beans used or the infusion of the milk it just doesn’t live up to the expectations expected. The hope is there for a good coffee to match the delicious breakfast choices and relaxing hang out that Why 50 portrays however it falls far short..

“Without my morning coffee I’m just like a dried up piece of roast goat.” Johann Sebastian Bach
