When you thought Kennedy Town could not get any better, Winston’s coffee opens up on the corner of Davis and Forbes Street. With a sister shop in Sai Ying Pun not too far away the good residents of Kennedy Town now have the choice between two very good cafes being CoffTea and Winston’s (there are other larger chains available but don’t get me started…). With the #coffeeisthenewblack Winston’s Coffee is ideally situated with an open bar deck serving a range of delicious coffee, snacks, breakfasts, lunches and their famous Espresso Martini’s late into the night.

Whether it’s an energy ball, a mini bagel, a cookie, an Espresso Martini (!) or of course the notorious Flat White, Winston’s seem to have it all sorted. A great place to rock up with some friends and sit out by the bar and people watch as you enjoy a well deserved caffeine hit.

The flat white is smooth, easy to go down and leaving you wanting more. Served with a distinct Aussie swagger by the barista’s you are left at ease and enjoying your experience. A very recommended stop in Kennedy Town. As to not favour one over the other (as they are both worthy) CoffTea seems like the place to go for a take away and Winston’s for a sit down…depends what you fancy!
